Positive Attitude

The oxford dictionary definition of attitude: “a settled way of thinking or feeling about someone or something, typically one that is reflected in a person’s behavior.”

Attitude is like a seed. You can nourish it with either positivity or negativity. How that seed grows and develops depends on what you choose to nourish it with. As the seed of your attitude takes root in either positive or negative soil no one can see the roots because they are hidden, but once that plant is firmly rooted it begins to sprout up from the ground. It grows, develops, and begins to bear fruit.  It can either produce bad fruit from the negativity, or good fruit from positivity.

Whether your attitude is positive or negative, it’s evident to those around you through your behavior and you’ll reap the rewards or the consequences of that attitude through your behavior.

Ephesians 4:22-24 (NLT)

22 throw off your old sinful nature and your former way of life, which is corrupted by lust and deception. 23 Instead, let the Spirit renew your thoughts and attitudes. 24 Put on your new nature, created to be like God—truly righteous and holy.

Be mindful of the attitude you choose to have, for it determines the fruit you bear in life. Choose to have a positive attitude, even when it seems impossible to do so, and you will begin to notice the positive changes in your life.
